I would argue that no team has changed more during last season than the New York Jets.
they and rookie QB Mark Sanchez were the talk of the NFL at the beginning of last season as a New York began 3-0, beating all potential playoff teams (although only one-the Pats-it made). Then Sanchez hit the wall and New York went into a downward spiral, losing six of the seven to seemingly the playoffs of ranges.
But then something clicked after Thanksgiving, again as the Jets won five of the six to sneak into the postseason. The help that week 16 opponent Indianapolis and week 17 enemy Cincinnati all their starters didn't play because their playoff spots were set? Certainly did, but then the Jets showed that they were not flukes by easy win in Cincinnati, beautiful the Chargers in San Diego and the Colts pushing in the AFC title game before, 30-17.
Sanchez was sufficient in the regular season, throwing for 2,444 yards and 12 TDs to deal with 20 opts for a rating of 63.0. he had the least attempts, supplements and passing feet below quarterbacks who at least 15 games played in 2009. Sanchez was better in the playoffs, give hope he takes a big step in 2010.
But really the 2009 jets were built on the defense and the ground game-New York led the League in total defense and Defense (thanks in large part to incomparable cornerback Darrelle Revis) also pass as in rushing offense.
And New York was hardly pat this offseason, dumping of leading rusher Shonn Greene's Thomas Jones because of attendance, as well as the versatile RB Leon Washington, that a season ends leg injury in week 7 last year ago trade. New York brought in a litany of stars: LaDainian Tomlinson, Santonio Holmes, Jason Taylor and Antonio Cromartie. However, the team has nine-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Alan Faneca releasing, and he was a great part of the O-line are arguably the best in the NFL last season.
Many experts are pleading for the jets to reach the Super Bowl-the Sporting News, for a. This team is already generating more ink than any other team in the NFL, under the leadership of pronounced coach, Rex Ryan.
The experts offer the Jets ' "over/under" for NFL season win totals 9.5. Let's break the 2010 New York Jets schedule:
Week 1: Monday, Sep. 13, Baltimore, 7: 00 pm
Week 2: Sunday, Sep. 19, New England, 4: 15 PM
Week 3: Sunday, Sep. 26, at Miami, 8: 20 PM
Week 4: Sunday, 3 October, in Buffalo, 1: 00 PM

This is tied for 16th toughest planning in the NFL with a winning percentage of opponents 2009.500 (128-128).
One would expect from New York to beat of Buffalo, but the Bills gave the Jets a few problems last year and managed to split. think Brett Favre will be booed when he returns on the face of the jets for the first time since playing with them that a year? New York Then has the difficult task of playing at Denver in the thin air on a short week. my football betting system calls it 3-3 on the bye.
If the jets can beat the Packers home after the bye that they will be in good shape, because in the weeks 9-11 they play teams who missed the playoffs in 2009 and were a combined 16-32. And on Thanksgiving night the jets are faced with a team of the Panthers they swept last year (although the Jets 0-3 on the day of the Turkey all the time). Therefore it seems very likely a midseason Golf.
December is much harder if each opponent probably a playoff contender-11 days before a crucial date with the Pats is an advantage--before you close with what should a victory over a Bills team that will go far out of the playoffs and playing out the string. the new rule that all week 17 games have Division play, could not get the jets have asked for a better enemy, while the Pats and dolphins are fighting it out.
I'm not so great on the Jets as everyone else, but no doubt that they will be good. This looks like 10-6, so take the ' about '. I predicted the Pats also 10-6, so it would be tantamount to tiebreakers to win the AFC East wants (Pats are blanks at WagerWeb and Jets on + 110). I believe that the Jets Thomas Jones will be missed and that the passing game will still struggling, New York won't be making it back to the AFC title game--but get within a game.
